Innovative developers are driving down the costs and enhancing the value of office space in Silicon Valley by retrofitting buildings to be zero net energy. These healthier work spaces make tenant employees happier and more productive. Property owners rent these spaces faster and real estate investors enjoy the rent premium that these properties yield. So why isn’t its adoption more widespread?
