Energy is the foundation of modern life. Our transportation, commerce, food, water, housing, medicine, communications and computing all depend on it. Yet energy is in a sweeping period of transition. Renewables are entering the landscape, and unconventional sources of gas and oil are changing our ideas about supply. Opinions on nuclear energy are shifting, and carbon concerns may or may not affect global production and consumption. Switch, a groundbreaking new documentary, explores the world’s leading energy sites, from coal to solar and oil to biofuels, to find out what the future of energy really holds. This event is generously sponsored by the Koret Foundation.
