As Bay Area cities navigate the challenges of the recession and beyond, each is experiencing a variety of difficult decisions. How are the largest cities in the region managing these challenges? Join Kate Howard, budget director for the City and County of San Francisco; Sabrina Landreth, budget director for the City of Oakland; and Ed Shikada, assistant city manager for the City of San Jose, for a discussion of regional challenges associated with balancing city budgets.
