DIY Disaster Kits

In the Bay Area, we all know we should have disaster kits at the ready, but who has time to assemble all the items on their own? Go MacGyver with us at the SPUR Urban Center and assemble your own portable disaster kit while hearing from experts about disaster preparedness. We’ll provide essential supplies such as flashlights, first-aid kits, whistles, emergency blankets, gloves, water sanitation supplies and more. Everyone will go home with a portable disaster kit that they created, a chance to win prizes in our raffle and a better understanding of how we can build a culture of preparedness across the Bay Area.

Raffle prizes include survival knives, bags from Chrome, Incase and Crumpler, family-sized medical kits and other great items.

Refund Policy 

Sponsorship payments will not be refunded, as sponsorship benefits take effect immediately and are on-going through the date of the event.

Individual ticket purchases If the refund is requested more than 2 business days and less than 10 business days prior to the event, a 25% refund can be issued upon request. Any requests for refunds received less than 2 days prior to an event cannot be accommodated.
