Noon - 2 p.m.

First celebrated in San Francisco in 2005, PARK(ing) Day has since become a global phenomenon. The annual event celebrates public space and street life by temporarily transforming metered parking spots into public spaces. This year, stop by the Urban Center between noon and 2 p.m. to enjoy a recipe from one of La Cocina’s cooks and experience El Puesto, an ongoing, traveling food installation by artists Sergio De La Torre and Chris Treggiari. The project was unveiled in Buenos Aires in 2010 and continues with support from the University of San Francisco. Stop by for this unique culinary and community-building experience.

We will be serving chicken mole while supplies last, so come early!
