Lunchtime Forum

This month, our guest speaker is Elizabeth Dougherty, founder of Wholly H2o: a Bay Area nonprofit that provides education and research on efficiency, rainwater, graywater, stormwater and blackwater as primary water sources for the residential, commercial, institutional, industrial and agricultural sectors in California.

Elizabeth will discuss incorporating sustainable water use and re-use concepts into regional planning and design. Planners, architects, and designers all play a vital role in how water is utilized and managed. We'll look into the current issues with water supply and disposal in California, and the concepts and technologies of water efficiency and (re)use that can be incorporated into planning and design on different scales.
