Join SPUR's Young Urbanists for this evening forum.

For one week each year, Black Rock City becomes one of the world's great cities, influencing the worlds of music and art and feeding the cultures of other cities around the world. Bay Guardian city editor Steven T. Jones will lead a lively discussion with key characters from his book, The Tribes of Burning Man: How an Experimental City in the Desert is Shaping the New American Counterculture, and will consider how this culture is transforming our understanding of cities and citizenship. This event is generously sponsored by the Koret Foundation.
