Sustainable School Architecture: Presentation by award-winning architect Lisa Gelfand

Lunchtime Forum

In 2006 California voters approved $100 million in funding for high-performance schools. The sustainability scorecard, developed by the Collaborative for High Performance Schools, incentivizes energy savings and environmental quality. Some of these funds are still available. Learn about high-performance standards—and their integration with how a building looks and works—from Lisa Gelfand, AIA, LEED AP, the award-winning designer of Northern California's first CHPS school.
