Urban Center Grand Opening: Public Open House

Special Program

All-day public open house, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Join us for an all-day open house, where you can preview the new building and SPUR's debut exhibition: "Agents of Change: Civic Idealism and the Making of San Francisco." Through compelling content spanning a variety of media—historical maps, photographs, recorded interviews and an interactive multimedia installation—this exhibition examines the history of citymaking in San Francisco, and challenges visitors to consider today's urban issues in light of their own values. Curated by Benjamin Grant, with exhibition design by Studio Terpeluk, graphics by Leon Yu and interactive technology by Taco Lab. Building and exhibition tours Friday, May 29 and Saturday, May 30 Offered on the hour, every hour, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
