Who is eligible?
If you are a student or graduate any college, university or graduate school, you are eligible to apply for this program.

What are the internship sessions?

* September through December
* January through April
* May though August

Alternatively, we can adjust the sessions to fit your schedule.

What are the work hours?
Interns generally work 10 to 20 hours a week during our office hours, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday though Friday.

Is this a paid internship?
Internships at SPUR are unpaid. However interns will enjoy SPUR membership benefits, including free admission to all forums and tours, and a one-year subscription to SPUR’s monthly publication, the Urbanist.

Can I get academic credit?

Awarding academic credit for an internship is at the discretion of your college or university. We will assist you in providing the appropriate information needed for credit, but arrangements should be made before you begin your internship.
