Lawrence Li
Lawrence has over 20 years of managing biotech, business services and community service organizations undergoing mergers and rapid growth. Prior to joining SPUR, Lawrence directed administrative functions at Tenderloin Health, which optimizes the health of the Tenderloin’s homeless, poor and most vulnerable residents.
Lawrence is a long-standing member of SPUR, San Francisco Bicycle Coalition, and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Currently, he serves on the Van Ness Avenue Bus Rapid Transit Citizen Advisory Committee. He serves as board member of Lower Haight Merchants and Neighbors Association and Treasurer of Yerba Buena Community Benefit District. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a Business specialization from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Lawrence enjoys bicycling the Wiggle and Market Street each day to and from the Urban Center. He lives simply in San Francisco, and spends time on city sidewalks and at cafes.
