Heather Olinto oversees SPUR’s fund development function, whose goal is to advance their vision, mission and impact by generating significant philanthropic revenue through engaging key constituencies and providing strategic direction to effectuate continued donor identification and retention. She leads a team of 8 that raises $8M annually through membership, foundation and outright donation solicitations. Previously, Heather served for 8 years as the Associate Vice President of Philanthropy at City of Hope where she was responsible for $15M in annual fundraising. After attending Texas State University, Heather spent several years working on local and regional political campaigns in Austin, TX. She currently serves on the executive board for the Friends of the Randall Museum, where she and her two kids spend quality time bird watching and taking in panoramic views of San Francisco.
