Yvette Radford is Kaiser Permanente’s Vice President of External and Community Affairs in Northern California and is a member of the organization’s Sr. Leadership Team. In this capacity, she has oversight for Government Relations, Community Relations, the region’s $800M. Community Benefit portfolio and Kaiser Permanente’s award winning Educational Theatre Program. Yvette has also developed and implemented key community engagement and volunteer programs for the organization. Additionally, she provides leadership and consultation on a number of key national external projects and initiatives for Kaiser Permanente.

Prior to this role, Yvette served as Community Relations Director for Kaiser Permanente in Northern California and Public Affairs Director for the organization's East Bay service area. She came to Kaiser Permanente after working for 12 years in the California State Legislature. Yvette currently serves on the governing boards for numerous community organizations, including the National Medical Fellowships (NMF), the San Francisco Museum of African Diaspora (MoAD) Black Women Organized for Political Action (BWOPA). She was also recently appointed by Governor Jerry Brown to serve on the California Volunteers Commission.

Yvette is married to David Tucker and has two daughters, Christina and Cyrena
